Nao was the bassist of the Neo Japanesque band Kagrra, until its disbandment. He is best known for being the charismatic and cheerful member of the band. He also used to dress up as a character called Charisma-sensei, appearing like that in fanclub events, concerts and Kagrra, no su episodes (a TV programme they used to have).
He is said to be lively during live performances, and according to fan reports he is really interactive with fans and cares a lot for them. With the other members of the band, he was always cheerful and playing around. They used to play different kinds of games for their Kagrra, no su episodes (like billards, the juice game, cards game, etc).
Overall one would say he really enjoyed being a Kagrra, member, he was really close to the other members and he surely still is.
Nowadays he isn't active in a band but he is still in the music business. He has a blog and he posts a lot! Which is great if you want to stay updated with him. He also offers particular bass classes from time to time in Japan, which he has already done before.
The fanlisting

Why Nao?
Kagrra, has been my favourite japanese band since I discovered Jrock. I loved (and still love) all the members, but Nao has always been my favourite. I wanted to build up a small tribute for him and finally I'm able to. I had a Kagrra, fansite time ago, too, and I guess you get an idea of why I built up this fanlisting for him, since I love him so much :3
Also, the fanlisting was named Satsuki after a song by Kagrra,. The title means "May" (the month) but it is also a kind of japanese flower, in which I inspired the design of the fanlisting.
